Islam is a recognized safety practitioner, thought-leader, and advocate with nearly 2 decades of global experience working with Fortune and FTSE 100s across high-risk industries in a senior leadership capacity. As the pioneering mind behind “Care2Lead” and the Leadership-Based Safety framework, Islam combines research-driven insights with an engaging communication style to empower leaders to leverage safety as a catalyst for business transformation and success. His PhD in safety leadership from Lancaster University produced groundbreaking findings that are reshaping how organizations approach leadership and culture. In 2019, he served as Chair of IOSH’s Middle East branch, where his work set a benchmark across the global network. Islam is regularly invited to inspire audiences at international HSE conferences, contribute to leading publications, and serve as a judge for prestigious industry awards.
